First visit...What to expect
Upon your first visit to Schmidt Chiropractic Center you will have an opportunity to discuss in detail any health concerns or goals that you may have with Dr. Julie and the staff at Schmidt Chiropractic.
Initially, a few health questionnaires and intake forms are filled out (unless you have downloaded and filled them out prior to your visit). These forms are reviewed by the practitioner that you are seeing (Doctor, Massage Therapist) and will be discussed with you.
After reviewing the information that you provided, if you are in for a chiropractic or acupuncture visit, a complete chiropractic, neurologic and orthopedic examination will be performed to determine the nature of your condition. X-rays may be taken at this time to further evaluate your spinal health.
If you are in for therapeutic massage or ear candling, a qualified therapist will review your information and discuss any questions you may have. She will then proceed with the services that you are in for.
Chiropractic treatment options will be discussed with you following your examination, and treatment may be initiated if you choose to begin with chiropractic care.
